Chemically contaminated well

Objective: This well was a cavern used for chemical storage. The chemicals stored had caused serious corrosion of the well and its components to the extent that the integrity of the system was questionable. The well owner decided to P&A the well when it was still under pressure so that the contaminated fluids/gasses remained down hole.
