Space Saver 385K

The space saver is a very compact unit, BPC owns two of these units.
The hydraulic work-over units have the following specifications:

Space Saver 385KThe maximum through bore of these units allows operations up to wells with a 21 ¼" top wellhead flanges. The units are equipped with two cylinders (hydraulic jacks). This two-legged set-up creates an open access window (working height 3 m) which enables easy handling, make-up and breaking-out of tubing hangers, packer assemblies and slip bowl removal. The slip window is completed with a lower working platform (2.5 x 4 m) that provides safe working conditions while handling slips, tongs and BHA assemblies.

The slip window has two separate dollies, each equipped with a 10 ton crane to allow safe lifting and handling of tools in the slip window area. The jack cylinders are equipped with 1 meter rod extensions to allow the stationary slips to be placed on top of the slip window, instead of the normal position at the bottom. This option allows packer assemblies to be handled without the slips being placed on top of the assembly. The jack system is equipped with a guide tube system to prevent pipe buckling in the pipe "light" mode. Guide tubes with different IDs are available to match the pipe size in the well.
